Brian Brushwood - Bizarre Magic TOUR UPDATES and TALES FROM THE ROAD August 2006

In only three days we begin the 2006 EVP tour. We've got three new routines, Nick Wells is back on the team, and this semester we're doing something completely new: we'll be bringing the complete life-on-the-road experience home to you. Read on for details:

The new routines - We've created three brand-new, 100% exclusive effects for this semester, and one of them is so good, we're naming the tour after it. It's an idea I came up with about a year ago, and after months of research, trial-and-error, and prototyping, I'm proud to announce is a hit. I premiered it last month, and the response was AMAZING. In 8 years of touring nationwide, I've never seen anything like this in a live show.

Click on www.you-will-scream.com to see a teaser trailer for this effect (requires flash 8 and a fast internet connection, if the video gets choppy, just hit 'refresh' on your browser). And remember that all those responses came from just the first 3 shows I tried the effect.

Next up: the return of Nick Wells - Most of you remember Nick as our very first intern on the road. Well, now he's graduated from Texas A&M University, and re-enlisted for another semester on the road. Here's the thing, though: if he's no longer a student, then that means he's no longer an intern. Which means I need all you people to make up a badass title for him (because I'm too lazy). This year he'll be managing logistics for the show (moving stuff), handling super-secret backstage covert activities (making the tricks work), and acting as chief documentarian for the upcoming "Brian Brushwood on the Road" weekly video series. Send your suggestions to titles@shwood.com and the person with the winning title for Nick will get both a brand-new "Brian Brushwood" t-shirt, and a "EVP Tour" t-shirt.
