I love you guys.

There, I said it.

It just sorta hit me: For seven years now, I've been the luckiest guy on earth... I get to travel all over the United States, performing my little bizarre magic show for colleges everywhere. I get to connect with thousands of students every month: the sharpest, smartest, people who (in just a few short years) are going to start running this country. I've watched fans become scientists, rappers, entrepreneurs, doctors, engineers, teachers, pilots, and fellow variety entertainers.

This month, we hit 14,000 members on the Brian Brushwood email uptates list. That's more than the populations of Batesville, Arkansas; Marfa, Texas; Vatican City, Rome; and the continent of Antarctica combined. Every single person on this list is someone I've met in person or performed for. Some of you are fans, some are close personal friends, and some are people I've met in passing in my travels. But all of you are people who in some way have helped make possible this exciting, incredible life for me. And since you guys have given me the best life in the world for seven years, I've got a present for you: I'm taking you all on the road with me.

For the next year, I'm documenting the entire experience of life on the road for you guys. All the highs, all the lows, and all the bizarre conversations we get into after 8 hours of driving in the desert. Every practical joke, every argument, and every kickass trick I learn. I'll be showing you magic. I'll be teaching you scams to pull on your friends. You'll get to meet some of the amazing friends I've made in the last 7 years.
